i wrote these goofy lyrics in my journal a while ago, and i don't honestly remember when i made this recording, i just found it on my phone looking for demos of another song, and ended up including it cuz i liked it. probably where i got the "remain, remain" idea from, honestly. my bets are that it was made in my dorm, in boston, like most of these songs.

sunkdown sundown; sly strip of shine
on the sunburned tough guy-
fly, fly, fists to five fruits of
foul pungence, devoured feverishly

guy rise, rise to fly,
rise to fuck the sky
with superman fists
into the hard sun

burn, burn, become
the desert's sucking air,
and singe the rough skin
of the weary wanderer

suffer in fire; mold in flames,
remain, remain, calls the burning plain.
